Trash the dress shoot No2 at Worsenden Farm.

This was shoot No2 at Worsenden Farm, Kent.

Our poor model for today was Sarah Vincent, not knowing what she was letting herself in for, Sarah was drafted in at the very last minute to assist in content for the new cap2ure website.

Clare Passmore, owner of the House Meadow, booked the photo shoot, to assist in the advertising for her own site http://thehousemeadow.com/

Not always taking into consideration, "the weather" - Clare still insisted the shoot go ahead, initially we got to work inside one of the stables adjacent to the house, but soon I felt fairly restricted on space and more noticeably lack of light.
So I got to work, and brought things back down to basics and went for natural light, and one reflector. The beauty of working on a cloudy, overcast day is the quality of light you get for portraiture, to the point it is shadowless.
This style of shoot favours flattering light, and keeps exposure levels constant.
Letting the camera chug along on a constant level, I can concentrate and devote more time to Sarah and her posing position.

The whole shoot lasted 2 hours, with Clare providing hair and make up.
The finale of the shoot was for Sarah, to "Trash the dress" in the style of puddle splashing, and general fumblings around on the farm.
Being conscience of Sarah's welfare, and the ever increasing risk of Hypothermia I knew we had to work fast, firing off frames left right and centre to get that golden look.

There was one killer shot from the session though, and that was when "Big Dave" made his guest appearance and showed up as Jack Ryder's body double, jumping from the lap of Sarah as she sat in the middle of a puddle in the farm yard.

Thanks Clare & Heather for hosting me again
Thanks Sarah for allowing me to torment you all afternoon, and remember "think warm"
Big Dave - without you, I would of struggled.
