Wedding of Laura & Mike Simpson

Saturday 28th May saw us covering the wedding of Laura & Mike at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in Surrey (RMA).

the RMA Sandhurst is where all officers in the British Army are trained to take on the responsibilities of leading soldiers.

This weekend saw RMA having a slightly more important role for it was the stunning venue for the wedding of new Mr & Mrs Simpson

The service took place inside the stunning Royal Memorial Chapel , an immaculately kept chapel in the centre of the academy grounds.

This would of been the very chapel that both Prince William & Harry would of attended regular church service whilst conducting their own training for officer selection in recent years.

Thankfully the weather held its nerve for the day, with only a minor threat of drizzle around 16:30 when we were outside taking the second of the formal group photographs.

what did happen for us though, were some fantastic clouds as shown below in the image, producing that perfect light for the couple shots.

some assistance was helped along with our Quadra's for one or two of the images.

Its always a pleasing moment for a photographer when the ambient light is so good, for portraits you couldn't ask for anything better, the bride & groom look amazing where ever you decide to position them, and you are lucky enough not to have to resort to taking every shot in open shade - which is always a good thing.

As per the norm for us here at Cap2ure, we like to tease the newly wed couple with a single image before going onto produce their album over the following weeks, and we also like to show the rest of the world our work.
